Under 16's London Junior League 9's at Richmond

Elmbridge Eagles U16s Start of 2018 season with the nine aside festival. Eight teams entered into this competition that is used as an entry to the London junior league for this year. We split into two groups with three matches each.

Elmbridge Eagles first game was against London Skolars, although some fundamental errors, we won this match 3-2.

The second match came straight after without rest against a fresh Hemel Stags Side. This time we played error-free rugby, but the fatigue didn't help final score 3-3.

The last pool group game against Richmond was our best display in the group matches, winning 4-0.

Having won the group, we played the runner-up of group B. The newly formed Guildford were our opponents, again we improved on the previous performance winning 5-0.

The win against Guildford set up a final was against Hemel Stags, again Elmbridge played without rest and this time no substitute. Despite scoring the opening try, we lost the game 3-1.
