A Quick Guide to the Registration and Membership Process.


Dear Players, Parents and Guardians,

We've fielded a few enquiries about how to register with the RFL and acquire membership to the club. It's a 2 stage process and to be a fully fledged member you need to complete both stages, although simply registering with the RFL will enable you to take part in a couple of trial training sessions. We hope the instructions below are clear, but if you have any questions don't hesitate to contact admin@elmbridgerl.com


Registration Steps:

  1. From the menu on the homepage, navigate to the page for the section of the club you wish to join. So if you are the parent of a boy aged U12 - U17, visit Junior Boys, a Player aged U6 - U11s, Primaries, and so on.
  2. Click the Registration Form Button. Register with the RFL and pay the insurance fee (amount varies by section as set by the RFL). This entitles new members to trial for a few training sessions before deciding to join. IMPORTANT - Registration insures you and is COMPULSORY for all participation. No Registration = No training or playing.
  3. When you're ready to join, click the Pay Now Button. Club membership fees must be paid before playing any matches for the club. 

Important Notes

  • Primaries and Junior Players should register using their parents' email address, ideally the same address each year.
  • For players transitioning from Junior to Adult sections:
    • At 17 years: Parental approval required for dual registration between Junior and Adult sections
    • At 18 years: Transfer to Adult section required
    • Junior players must be 17 to play in adult Women's or Men's Rugby

Wheelchair Rugby League

  • Players registered in any section may try Wheelchair Rugby League from age 14+
  • Parental permission is required for all players under 18

In cases of financial hardship we will endeavour to find a solution which enables your/your child's ongoing participation. Please contact Club Management in person or at admin@elmbridgerl.com who will consider your case with sensitivity and in confidence.
