Elmbridge Eagles Rugby League Pre-Season 2023 Will Start Soon!

Dear Players, Parents and Volunteers, 

The Rugby League Season begins soon and in preparation for this Elmbridge Eagles will shortly be running pre-season fitness and basic skills sessions at the Old Cranleighan Sports Club in Thames Ditton!

Elmbridge Eagles runs Rugby League teams for all age groups, abilities and genders from primary school aged girls and boys up to adult and Masters men and women's teams.

We aim to provide a fun sporting and social experience appropriate for anyone from complete Rugby League novices and amateur players through to those who want a pathway into the elite levels of Rugby League.

We serve not only Thames Ditton, but the whole of Elmbridge and the wider South East England catchment area.

We also run a (strictly social!) touch rugby session on Thursday evenings which all are welcome to attend regardless of age, ability or gender. Don't worry if you have no Rugby experience. Touch Rugby League is easy to learn and a great way to improve fitness while enjoying the long Summer evenings and some good company.

So whether you are an experienced adult player, a primary aged child who's new to Rugby League, or just looking for a fun and sociable way to keep fit we run training sessions and teams which you'll enjoy and get something out of.

All Training and Touch Rugby sessions are hosted at the Old Cranleighan Sports Club in Thames Ditton unless notified otherwise. Full address details are below.

Pre-Season Training dates and times are as follows:

Junior Boys (U12, U14 & U16) - Thursday March 2, 19:00 - 20:15

Men (U18, Men and Masters) - Tuesday March 28, 19:00 - 20:15

Women  - Saturday April 22, 12:00 - 13:00

Junior Girls (U12 - U18) - Saturday April 22, 12:00 - 13:00

Mixed Primary (girls and boys in school years 6 and below) - Saturday April 22, 10:00 - 11:30

Mixed Gender Touch and Masters Rugby League (strictly social and non-competitive!) - Thursday April 27, 19:00 - 20:15
